A Postoperative Prognostic Score After Conversion Surgery for Pancreatic Cancer with Synchronous Liver Metastases

This postoperative prognostic score stratifies overall survival after conversion surgery in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and synchronous liver metastases treated with systemic chemotherapy.

The score incorporates pathologic primary tumor size, preoperative CA19-9 level, liver metastasis response, and resection margin status. Patients are classified into low-, intermediate-, and high-risk groups according to the total score.

The score is intended for postoperative risk stratification and cannot be used for preoperative selection of candidates for conversion surgery.

This score is intended for postoperative risk stratification after conversion surgery in patients with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and synchronous liver metastases.

The total score ranges from 0 to 7 points, with higher scores indicating worse overall survival.

The survival estimates shown below represent group-level outcomes observed in the development cohort and should not be interpreted as an exact prediction for an individual patient. The score was developed in a retrospective single-center cohort and has undergone internal validation but has not yet been externally validated.

This score cannot be used for preoperative selection of candidates for conversion surgery and should not be used as the sole basis for clinical treatment decisions.
