Risk of Ischemic Heart Disease in Women after Radiotherapy for Breast Cancer
This model calculates the absolute and the cumulative risk of radiation related ischaemic heart disease and death by age 80 years. The model uses age, mean radiation dose and risk factors for heart disease. The risk factors for heart disease used are: Laterality of breast cancer, history of ischemic heart disease, history of circulatory disease other than ischemic heart disease, history of diabetes, history of COPD, current smoker, BMI, analgesic medication & hormone replacement therapy.
